Since the start of the 1991/92 season, Leeds United have faced a number of different managers who have either previously taken charge of the club or who would go on to become future head coach or manager at Elland Road: Kevin Blackwell, Steve Evans, Simon Grayson, Paul Heckingbottom, Brian McDermott, Garry Monk, Neil Redfearn, Uwe Rösler, Gordon Strachan and Neil Warnock.

James Beattie, Aidy Boothroyd, Pep Clotet and Gus Poyet are former Leeds backroom coaching staff members that have come up against Leeds in recent seasons.

Former players Micky Adams, Nick Barmby, Lee Bowyer, Michael Brown, Shaun Derry, Paul Dickov, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Dougie Freedman, Simon Grayson, John Pemberton, Andy Ritchie, John Sheridan, Gary Speed, Gordon Strachan and Jonathan Woodgate have all taken charge against Leeds in recent seasons.
