This page is dedicated to Leeds' all-time greatest goal scorers in competitive matches. Peter Lorimer is the record goalscorer in the club's history having scored 238 goals. Hotshot remains the only player to exceed 200 goals for the club across two spells.

 

Gentle Giant John Charles ranks second in the all-time list of goals scored for Leeds United with 157 for the club across two spells. Forward Allan Clarke makes up the top three with 151 goals for Leeds United.

Below is a comprehensive list of Leeds United's top scorers in both league campaigns and across all competitions each season. 

 

John Charles holds the club record for the most league goals scored in a single season when he netted 42 in 1953/54 and also holds the record for the most goals scored across all competitions (43) in a single season in the same campaign. Arthur Hydes, John Charles and Mark Viduka all share the club record for finishing as Leeds' top scorer in four separate campaigns across all competitions.

 

John Charles and Jermaine Beckford remain the only Leeds players to have scored 30+ goals in multiple seasons for the club (both twice). Tom Jennings and John Charles (twice) remain the only Leeds players to have scored 30+ league goals in a single campaign for the club. Mark Viduka remains Leeds' highest Premier League scorer in a single season netting 20 goals in 2002/03.
